one man's trash...

So in the midst of filling my time with less meaning I opened up an email from Asos alerting me of a new sale.. Ooo I thought, let's see if there are any bargains to be had!

Rather than coming across items worth sharing for oh-my!-look-at-this-find perposes, I came across a couple of oh-my!-how-awful-let's-point-and-laugh garments

...maybe it's just the shoes? Part Posh-Hippy-Hot-Mum, Part Roman soldier?

and again

Fancy going as Betty Rubble or a sailor for a fancy dress party but can't decide? FEAR NOT this dress is the perfect medium!

When not even drop-dead-gorgeous models look gorgeous in something, it's really saying something.

Does this reinstate every argument against sales; that they are full of tat that begs question over its creation in the first place?

Also...er, thanks to the 2000 people who viewed my blog last month :| have no idea where you've come from, but welcome yeah!

elephant gun

Ok, I'm going to write a list- I love writing lists, don't you?
  1. My blog is rubbish atm, I completely acknowledge that.. but uni has taken over nearly all of my time
  2. Speaking of university- I really wish mine had an arts department! There are no creative types here at all!
  3. Although I don't think there's any arty souls in the whole 10-mile radius, apparently I'm living in the most dull, depressing area of the country
  4. I miss going to alt/indie discos and seeing has-been rockstars in bars about town. As I said this place is dull as an empty fridge! I need excitement!
  5. Perhaps I'll come into money, a vast quantity of it! And I can fly to New York and study there.
  6. I'd buy a really good camera and spend my free time taking photographs and writing in diners
  7. With my spare money I could open a gallery or cafe-cinema which would hold free classes and workshopss. My photography skills would develop and I'd photograph bands and live music
  8. Maybe I'd bump into James Franco..isn't he beautiful? Or Jay Baruchel, don't you think he'd adorable
  9. So cute, in fact, I'm contemplating renting the Sorcerer's Apprentice...probably not a good idea, right?... I'm sure there's better films with him in
  10. Besides, I haven't got time to watch films at the moment..I've still got 3 essays to write!

Hope you're having a less stress fest than I am :)

magically eerie

This week has bought about a lotta snow to England and where I live hasn't been an exception. Quite contrary to the innocent and pure beauty of frozen rain, the fog last week created quite a creepy landscape.

I photographed a journey I took...

I felt like I wasn't stepping right into an Edgar Allan Poe story...
