Have you ever removed or put on sunglasses to find that a screw has dropped out and they fall apart in your hands? This has happened to me a few times now and while it is rather comical it is also irritating- You can buy replacement screws from some opticians and pharmacies but I've come up with an instant, temporary solution ... All you need is a pair of scissors and those plastic wire strips you get with sandwich bags :D
Wahey!
I also spruced up a pair of trainers with shoelaces from Accessorize :)
Hope you all had a good Easter, I completely overdosed on creme eggs :/
I've also been interview by The Girl with the Blue Bow, if you fancy taking a look!

I think this qualifies for Most Annoying Thing Ever. I once took my sunnies out of my bag on a street and the flippin screw dropped on the pavement and rolled off. Very hard to recover cool points when you're scratting about on the street looking for something that's about a milimetre big.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great tip! That's so going to come in handy for me.
