So, it's that time of year where the purses tighten and purchases are less extravagant, it's too cold to do much outside and as far as nightlife goes, everyone's fed up and bored of the same-old-same-old bars and clubs, the news is all depressing, your DVD collection had been watched to death...

Well, many ask, what is there to do that is both cheap, an indoors activity and fun?

HEAD ON DOWN TO YOUR LOCAL DISCOUNT STORE and purchase a 99p art kit aimed at 7-11 year olds!

This week, we made our own princesses!

I called her Princess Adriana-Tattiana. She came with two extra outfits that were too ugly- no careful colour scheme or amount of sequins could redeem them. I also gotta admit, Princess A-T's 90's-esq drag queen shoes don't float my boat, maybe with a band T-shirt, a leather jacket and some plaid-shorts or a babydoll they'd look cool, but I don't think she can pull them off with big, powerpuffel dresses.

What ridiculous things have you done to have fun?

On the less silly, but equally as fun side we threw a surprise party for my flatmate

It was really cute and fun. But there was no alcohol involved and it turned out some of our (mainly male) friends can only function socially with liquor so the awkward turtle was break dancing all over the place.
