paperclip

Ever since I worked in a fabric shop (best job ever) I had an idea of what my perfect pair of trousers would look like and when browsing topshop.com lately I stumbled upon a near match.. add to basket, charge and delivery later...


Great fabric, awesome cut, beautiful for autumn/winter..both casual and smart...buuuuuuuut
 in the wrong lighting, not so awesome=


My perfect trousers aren't perfect. I also realised they weren't so comfy and a little cold for winter :( apply for return and post office... So do you end up returning much from online stores? How do you judge how nice it'll be when it arrives?

  I was a little frivalous (student times) and I also got some Barbie pink nail varnish which I love, painted wee lil hearts on for additional girly-ness ;)

    What a shame about the trousers :( They look lovely, but I know what you mean. I return about 50% of things I buy online!

  2. I'm always on the search for perfect trousers. I think those look nice in photos! But I can understand that getting them in real life doesn't turn out so great. I received an order from ASOS recently and the dress I bought wasn't what I expected. I absolutely loved it online! But the material is thin and I think I have to buy a white slip for it now.

    I decided not to return it because of the hassle. I usually only return things if I can do it in-store or have free return shipping. I did buy a pair of shoes that cost $150, but didn't end up fitting the right way. Since I spent that much, I thought it was worth returning since I'd only be losing $10 USD.

  3. Sorry the pants didn't quite work out - they were cute! I return quite a bit from online stores so I try to shop from one's that offer free shipping on returns, etc.

  7. Shame about the trousers :( I'm so lazy about returning things, I often convince myself I like something to avoid having to do so and then never wear them. Better to return asap and spend the money on something you love instead.
