summer is winding down

I've only been back in England 6 days but it feels like an age. As I'm staying with my grandparents (as until september 25th, technically I'm homeless) time goes rather slow. I mean of course I love 'em and all but a girl needs her independence! I've spent the past week being uncertain as to when's a good time to go to sleep, avoiding spending money and generally walking around confused. I've watched a lot of True Blood and drank a lot of decaf tea

As I'm returning to America on Wednesday, I'm just waiting for the fun times ahead and killing time in the meantime. I know that was way too many 'times' for one sentence but it reflects my currently disorientated ol' head well so I'm leaving them there

My grandma did knit me an adorable top, all ready for autumn :)

The glasses are newish- I got talked out of using the frames I bought online at the opticians as they won't refund the cost if they break when fixed, so I got the only pair that looked half good on me which happen to be a design for old men. I look a bit scene, fake and goofy but they're nicer and cheaper than all the other ones in stock

I also had a look through my Grandma's knitting patterns, they're so vintage, kitsch and amusing I thought I'd share

I'm back from America in two weeks, hopefully with lots of great photos finds from flea markets, thrift stores and exploring :)
