hey May!

So the busiest week ever.. .

-I played my gig (then went out afterwards.. woke up the next day with a bruised forehead, a sachet of hot chocolate, muscle ache from a bouncy castle and a casino membership. I kid you not)
-Voted. First time I've been old enough to vote in a general election and I got sucked into everything, watching the updates on News 24 is strangely addictive
-Tried sorting out all my business for America: I've got a place a camp counsellor! 6 weeks to go, yikes!
-I also got my eyes tested but can not find nice frames ANYWHERE! Do you wear glasses? I don't wanna go for anything too trendy or drab. Ideally I'd like a 50s secretary style pair that Marilyn Monroe would've worn. Anyone know anywhere to find anything pretty?

I got a pair of worker boots (the pair I mentioned a few posts ago, from Tesco)

I like contrasting them with something florally and feminine- As much as I love the Terminator, I don't wanna look like I'm impersonating him... though maybe next halloween ?

I also went into Boots and couldn't resist a splurge. Cosmetics is my biggest downfall-I spend a silly amount each month on beauty products. I did get some cheaper items though

I remember reading about rose water toner, I've never used it, but at less than £2 I thought I'd give it a try. I also got some Bio Oil to improve my skin before summer, I've used it before and results are great, but it can unbalance your make up and seep into your hair at night and leave it looking greasy if you're not careful

I also added two new Barry M nail paints to my collection

I also popped into poundland and made an incredible find... A brobee keyring!

I've never really watched Yo Gabba Gabba much, but I really love this thing...It's so weird and I laugh just looking at it
